How do you change frequencies on radio controled boats?

I have a Nikko America Wave Buster boat. I want to race with my neighbor. We both have the same frequencies on our boats so racing is impossible.
Look for where the may be place or slot for the crystal that determines frequency. You should be able to pull it out and add a new one. There may be also a switch that can help you change frequencies. Look aat your remote as well.
I tried the Nikko website but it’s down.
You may have bad luck and the frequency is fixed. But not really likely since most of these R/C toys are meant to raced with a group.
