What are some inexpensive boats for wakeboarding?

I am looking to purhcase a boat for wakeboarding within a 3-6000 price range. What are boats that I could buy that still put off a good wake?

    any family runabout that is older. an I/O or a v-drive. beginner wake boarders really don’t need much wake. it can actually slow the learning process by giving too much air. an older boat will throw more wake than a newer one (except wake specific boats). you can always add fat sacs or other type of weight to enhance your wake later. don’t go out board or inboard or jet drive as those produce minimal wakes.

    Consider a 1985-1989 ski nautique “2001″. They sell for around $5K. This boat throws a clean ramp. It is not tall and great for beginners. I sell nautiques near Tulsa, Ok. I have one with a Tower and air Graphics for under $10K . Do not waste time and money on a boat not intended on towing people. Take some lessons from a good instructor. This will help you learn the correct way. Within a week you will be glad you bought a professional tow boat.
